I’m Danny.
Let me tell you
what I do.
I spent 19 years inside Alabama’s prison system — one of the deadliest in America. I survived what most people only read about, and I spent those years putting my own life on the line to keep other men from being killed, beaten, raped, or forgotten.
On April 11, 2023, I walked out. I haven’t stopped working since.
Today I mentor teenagers who are one bad night away from a cell. I sit with gunshot victims at UAB Hospital alongside the Offender Alumni Association. I feed people who have nothing. I step into conflicts before they turn into funerals. I founded Hope Legacy Outreach Ministry and I lead The Fishermen Project because our young people deserve somebody who has been where the streets are trying to take them — and came back with a map.
My mission doesn’t bend: break the prison pipeline before it ever reaches your child. Reach them early. Protect their future. Make sure they never live what I lived.
When I step on your stage, I’m not handing you theory. I’m handing you the truth — and what actually works.
